Purpose† Over Pretty was born from a place of pain—but it was built through faith, healing, and God’s restoration.

As a survivor of domestic abuse, I know what it feels like to…

be afraid, to be silenced, and to wonder if life will ever feel safe again. But, because of those seasons, I also know what it feels like when God steps into the brokenness, turns that pain into purpose, and begins to rewrite your story.

Unfortunately, domestic violence is far more common than most people realize. Nearly 1 in 4 women and 1 in 9 men in the United States will experience severe physical violence, sexual violence, or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime. On average, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner—that’s more than 10 million people every year. And for many, escaping the cycle of abuse is not just about leaving, it’s about rebuilding an entire life from the ground up.

This collection exists because no one should have to walk through abuse, healing, or rebuilding alone. If you’d like to join me in giving back to survivors of domestic abuse, 100% of the proceeds generated from The Cause Collection will be donated to Recipient.
