THE HEART BEHIND PURPOSE OVER PRETTY
There was a time when all I saw was brokenness. When the pain, the fear, and the silence felt louder than God’s promises. But He never let go. In the middle of it all, He stepped in, picked up the pieces, and began to write something new.
Purpose Over Pretty was born from that place; from ashes, from ache, from answered prayers I never even knew how to speak. This space isn’t about performance or perfection. It’s about healing. It’s about hope. It’s about choosing purpose, even when everything around you says you’re too damaged, too much, or not enough.
You’ll see the color purple woven throughout this space. That’s intentional. Purple represents domestic violence awareness, and it honors the survivors; the ones who carry stories the world may never fully understand. It’s a color of courage, dignity, and deep inner strength.
You’ll also notice lavender: soft, steady, and grounding. For me, lavender symbolizes more than just beauty. It represents:
- Healing, for the days you’re trying to recover and rebuild.
- Peace, when your soul is weary from the fight.
- Grace, when you’re learning to forgive, including yourself.
- Devotion, to the One who never left.
- And strength, because quiet power is still power.
This brand is deeply personal, but it’s not just about me. It’s for everyone who’s ever felt stuck between who they were and who they’re becoming. You are not alone. You are not forgotten. And you are not too far gone for God to use your story.
Let this be your reminder: It’s not about being polished, it’s about being real. Around here, we choose purpose over pretty—every time.
